Another busy day in the rugby union game as France’s Antoine Dupont was named the Six Nations player of the championship.

A rejuvenated France enjoyed a fine Six Nations tournament, finishing in second position after producing some fine performances, and it has been capped by star scrum-half Antoine Dupont picking up the best player award.
Elsewhere, the fourth Bledisloe Cup Test takes place on Saturday as Australia host New Zealand and we have previewed the contest. The All Blacks are currently 2-0 up in the series and will be confident of making it three successive victories, but they lost the last time they were in Brisbane.
Finally, former England prop David Flatman believes that Jack Willis should be given an opportunity to start for the Red Rose in the Autumn Nations Cup. The flanker has been in superb form for Wasps in the Premiership, but did not feature against Italy in the Six Nations.

Covid-19 has been having a big impact on the sport this week with the Dragons seeing their next two games postponed after returning seven positive cases.
Leicester Tigers have also been hit with an outbreak and have closed their training ground. There is just two weeks to go until the 2020/21 Premiership season gets underway.
There was some good news for the Midlanders, however, after they announced the signing of former Saracens and England scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth ahead of the upcoming campaign.

What’s on TV
The PRO14 resumes with Premier Sports broadcasting all the Round Five matches, and the action kicks off in Newport on Saturday where the Dragons will host Connacht.
Meanwhile, the Tri-Nations action continues with Sky Sports screening the Test between Australia and New Zealand in Brisbane, and they will also show all the domestic action from New Zealand, which continues on Saturday when Auckland host Northland.
