Alex Reco is now 4-0 against nationally ranked opponents over the last two dual seasons after a 6-2, 6-3 win over No. 65 Jack Davis. Scouting the Sooners
Oklahoma brings a 4-4 record to Fayetteville, but half of those matches have come against nationally ranked opponents. The Sooners swept No. 12 Wake Forest, 4-0 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 23rd. Mason Beiler was ranked No. 69 in the ITA preseason rankings and has split duties at the No. 1 spot with Jake Van Emburgh and Mark Mandlik. The Sooners have used three different combinations at the No. 1 doubles spot and have won three straight doubles points.
>> The Razorbacks are looking for their first win against OU since a 5-2 upset win over the 10th-ranked Sooners in 2016.
>> With a win on Wednesday Arkansas would match the best start in program history since 2006 when the Razorbacks opened with a 6-0 record.
>> Reco has been ranked in four straight ITA polls and is now 14-1 over the last two dual seasons.
>> Paya is also 12-2 the last two years in singles play and leads the team with his doubles partner, Jose Dominguez Alonso, with a 4-1 record.
