Ethan (13-5): Josh Bartscher paced the Rustlers with 20 points and Eric Gustafson added 18 points. The Rustlers host Freeman on Tuesday.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton (4-13): Reed Rus tossed in a game-high 30 points and grabbed nine boards. Nate Hohn added 18 points and collected 10 rebounds. Kolby Kayser netted 11 points and hit three 3-pointers. The Titans play Bon Homme on Tuesday in Mount Vernon.

DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids St. Mary’s second-half comeback led to an upset of Class B No. 2 Howard on Thursday in boys basketball play.

Dell Rapids St. Mary (14-3): Ashaun Roach-Valandra exploded for 39 points in the win. Sam Palmer and Connor Libis added nine and eight points, respectively. The Cardinals play Canistota on Saturday at the Corn Palace.

Howard (15-2): Sam Aslesen scored a team-high 31 points for the Tigers. Sam Callies chipped in 11 points. The Tigers play Platte-Geddes on Saturday at the Corn Palace.

BURKE — Burke had five players score in double figures in a 30-point win over Kimball/White Lake on Thursday.

Burke (12-3): Ben Witt led the Cougars with 21 points. Nick Nelson chipped in 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Bryce Frank scored 18 points. Brogan Glover stuffed the stat sheet with 11 points, 11 boards, eight assists and two steals in the win. Johnny Rozeboom scored 11 points. The Cougars play Alcester-Hudson on Saturday in Alcester.

Kimball/White Lake (4-13): Bennett Namanny scored a team-high 16 points. Dawson Miller added 14 points and seven rebounds. Jaxon Pursell posted 13 points and seven boards. The WiLdKats travel to Wessington Springs on Tuesday.

Corsica-Stickney (9-5): Jaylen Kemp scored 21 points in the win. Taven Burke added an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double, while Trever Burke scored 17 points. Hayden Plamp recorded 11 points. The Jaguars play Freeman Academy/Marion on Saturday at the Corn Palace.

Freeman Academy/Marion (11-5): Quincy Blue poured in 30 points, including his first career dunk. Thalen Schroeder added 22 points nad 13 rebounds. Connor Epp scored eight points and dished out 14 assists. The Bearcats play Corsica-Stickney on Saturday at the Corn Palace.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian (5-11): Xavier Hare scored 17 points. Kizer Hart chipped in 14 points. The Thunder travel to Parkston on Monday.

PLANKINTON — Mount Vernon/Plankinton cruised past Class B No. 4 Ethan for a girls basketball win on Thursday.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton (12-5): Emilee Fox paced the Titans with 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Maria Baker added 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Reagan Rus chipped in 11 points in the win. The Titans travel to Sioux Falls Christian on Saturday.

Ethan (15-3): Hannah Bartscher scored a team-high 15 points. Ava Lingemann added nine points. The Rustlers host Freeman on Tuesday.
