Illinois Wins The 2020-21 Big Ten Men’s Tennis Tournament – Big Ten Conference

No. 2 seed Illinois defeated No. 1 seed Ohio State 4-3 for the 2021 Big Ten Men’s Tennis Tournament title at the Sid and Hazel Dillion Tennis Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Sunday. With the victory, Illinois (21-2, 15-1 Big Ten, 10-0 Big Ten East) secured its third Big Ten Tournament title and first since 2015.
Illinois’ Zeke Clark was named Tournament Most Valuable Player after clinching the tournament trophy for the Illini in a marathon match on court four. Clark came back to claim the victory in a third-set tiebreaker against Ohio State’s Kyle Seelig after dropping the first set (6-7 (7-9), 6-3, 7-6 (7-4)).
