The Jayette — and Bluejay — basketball teams are holding summer skills training now through July at Perry High School.

Offseason training and conditioning considered critical to success and development, the basketball coaches at Perry are offering skills improvement and physical instruction through July. There is no cost to attend.

The boys cagers hold open gym from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Monday and from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday and Friday.

High school girls gather from 8-9 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the middle school girls coming together Tuesday and Friday from 9-10 a.m. and also from 8-9 a.m. Wednesday in a joint session with the high schoolers.

Girls in grades 2-5 will be in the gym 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays and from 8-9 a.m. Thursday, with grades 6-8 together from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, 8-9 a.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Friday.
